It was a long two weeks. Accident on valentines day and back on the road on the 28th. My head was thinking worse case scenario 4-6 weeks+ of being off the road.

They are still sorting out liability the truck driver is trying to put it on me saying that I made an unsafe lane change and didn’t give him enough time. His exact words to me were “I thought you were going to go through on the yellow”, he obviously had no intention on stopping and expected to follow me straight through.

So I had to pay the excess for the time being until that issue is sorted out if they hold me blameless then I will get it back.

The day they wrote I got my pay out money I applied for a small extra personal loan and upped my daily limit on my accounts to 25K. Once the personal loan was approved and I received the money. I went and test drove my new girl on the Tuesday.

I loved the car, we agreed on price, did the paper work, but ANZ declined my transaction the fuckers. I resigned myself to EFT paying it and back to public transport for a few days. They then informed me we picked up a flat on the test drive.

At no prompting from me Shacks gave me a loan car for two days still the payment arrived and they fixed the tyre.

Totally loving my new girl. Three years newer, more features and luxury and only 26,000 on the clock.
