Looking forward into 2018

  • Hopefully my new place settles and I move to Kelmscott
    • Tip: Never buy a place in December, If you are on a fixed lease if you deal with Anxiety.
  • Make my new place my own
    • Utilise Smart Home technologies
    • Wire up a networking rack in the store room
  • Utilise the extra space in the new place to work on projects and on projects that have the potential to make $$$
  • Use the move to as an opportunity for a life reboot
  • New CEO at work
  • New Work Environment should the new hospital open in 2018
  • Lots of events & exciting things to happen with respects to work
  • Continue the at least one movie per month at the Cinemas.
    • I have been consistent at this since December 2015
  • Go out to a pub or the casino for a drink and see what happens at least once a fortnight.

Property Hunt – Weekend 1

After getting my pre-approval on Wednesday I made a note in my calendar to go to a home open open on Saturday at 1pm, but the agent didn’t show.

I went back into the Real Estate app and noticed the time had been changed to 10am that day DOH !! I missed the home open due to not having notifications turned on for that app. I ended up calling the agent and he agreed to swing back for 4:30pm.

I love the place. I think it will be perfect for me the NBN Node is only 200m away and being a new place it means new copper so there shouldn’t be any issues. Space is more than adequate for my needs.

Unfortunately the Agent didn’t have copies of paperwork for me to make an offer, but he has written them up and sent them to me so I can review tomorrow morning and send back.

If everything goes my way I will settle on the 2nd of Feb and have a very small mortgage.
